Nguyen Thanh Binh

After graduating from the Fine Arts Academy of Hanoi in 1972, Nguyen Thanh Binh moved to Saigon and obtained his diploma from the Fine Arts Academy in 1983. He participated in many exhibitions in Vietnam, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Dubai, and Japan. He was featured in the show Mekong 1995 and Mekong 1996 in Switzerland. His work exudes poetry, tranquility and sobriety, evoking presence through absence. His mysterious painting in the exhibition depicts a couple in the form of two empty chairs, a hat, and an apple.
